Online only shops are killing mom and pop brick and mortars, and big boxes as well. Esp in the bike industry. People come into a shop and get personalized info, fitting, test rides, etc. Then they buy online. We not only have to keep our prices super competitive but also give in person customer service. It's hard. I try to buy from brick and mortar mom and pop shops exclusively, but you can't with everything. Sad to say in the future it's all going to Walmarts.

Though I have to admit I do buy antiques from ebay. They are still generally small shops that sell on ebay as well. Going to antique shops in person is very overpriced. I know they have more overhead, but ebay fees are not cheap either!
