an e collar or cone collar is usually found at your vets. It is the cone that wraps around you animals neck to keep them from liking or biting an open wound or surgical site.

I used it becasue when laid flat it have a nice shape to it for a single side skirt. I cut it out, and hem the sides, gather the top and attach it to a shirt.

It is the basic shape I used on the pooh dress I had posted
