Yes...it could be some sort of allergy/sensitivity. I was thinking that as well...especially since only one dog has the issue. If his paws don't heal up soon, maybe you should check with your vet. But in the meantime, the Musher's Secret might be able to help ease some of dryness and/or help with the healing process. I'd just be careful around the broken skin. Good luck!!
