I can't really describe the smell, but it's not bothersome to me. Katie definitely doesn't mind it, and my dear friend's four dogs look for it in their food. My other two friend's dogs lick their bowls because of it. I really like their products, and I believe they help. My friend's Bichon was having a lot of problems with hot spots and itchiness, and she no longer has any problems. I was using Bactaquin before this, and is like this so much more.
