Like Crystlesmom said, you can't save them all. And you're doing all you possible can so don't feel guilty if you decide not to take on a 5th dog. Perhaps the other chi is with you now b/c this one was meant for someone else.
Please don't drive yourself crazy over this... It's not good for your health.
