Gizmo had a bit of loose stools a few weeks after I rescued him, and it ended up he was allergic. To the little pieces of boiled chicken I was giving him with rice. Sometimes what works for one pup, can have the opposite affect on another. I ended up getting an anti-diarrhea med for him from the vet and stopped the chicken, and its never happened again. I also feed him a really good diet with royal canine kibble mixed with commercial raw. He's super healthy now and I only I've him human foods that are good for him such as a few frozen veggies and little pieces of apple or banana on occasion. Also his treats are all made in USA with locally sourced ingredients. They can have very sensitive tummies when they are really young.
Gizmo also gets the zoomies lol, it's so funny to me and he just makes me laugh he's so silly. They tend to be mostly in the afternoon as well :-) he will be eight months in 2 days :-) |
