Jenny/Mimimomo sent me some tiny scrunchies -- I think she gives them as a gift with orders of other items on her site

They are smaller/stretchier/less bulky than the small ones I normally buy at WalMart in the hair section. Teddy has broken off a lot of hair above his eyes, so the hair is too short to go in his topknot toward the back of his head. I use the tiny scrunchies to make a little topknot closer to his eyes to catch the shorter hairs. Then I gather more a little farther back and band that with the ponytail of the first topknot.
Hoping this will help his hair grow back. It is doing a good job keeping hair out of his eyes, and these little scrunchies hold perfectly when wrapped 3 - 4 times around the tiny topknot.
My guys don't like to wear the rubber bands on a daily basis. Be sure to take down the hair daily, massage the scalp, and redo the topknot. As noted above, don't do it too tight. The band should be a comfortable distance from the skin, and then pull a little of the hair in the middle to make it stay in place.
