 Dogs can't tell time
Your baby just knows you aren't there, doesn't know if you will ever come back. My friends/relatives tell me how my baby looks constantly out the window when I am gone. It breaks my heart, but what can you do?
Maybe try putting him in the same physical space much earlier while you are there and give him something he loves so he will connect the "away" space with goodies instead of abandonment. Just a thought. |
