Puppies take frequent naps but should wake up with lots of energy and ready to go again.

I assume your little guy is still quite young. He needs to be free fed especially since you are dealing with hypoglycemia. Pups start to develop the ability to control their bladder and bowels at around 16 weeks of age. If you find a good secure puppy pad frame it will help discourage him from destroying them.

Giardia is a very contagious parasite that can cause a lot of gastrointestinal problems in puppies. Clean up any poo he does right away and use a good disinfectant to clean the area. Pups can easily get re-infected by walking through their mess. It many times causes a lack of appetite so you are going to have to watch his eating carefully to keep his blood sugar up. Right now his calorie intake is the most important issue.

Try to keep your other dog from getting infected.
