I love it! I know some people desire smaller yorkies, but I would love it if he does turn out to be on the larger side.
I have yet to see a growth chart for this breed that exceeds 7lbs- and honestly I could care less about AKC standard when it comes to size. My little man is amazing. His coat seems to be on-point with the "standards" but his little body is huge haha. His weight is pretty evenly distributed too.
I was so shocked when I saw that he doubled in size in the few weeks we've had him. He was 1 lbs, 12 oz at 8 weeks old. When I look at growth charts for reference, he shouldn't weigh as much as he does (54 oz) until about 15 weeks.
Although he's beyond adorable at his size now, I'd love for him to turn into a little yorkie-tank as long as he stays healthy
