my boy used to do this too. Praising for not barking is good. Also try and walk her right next to you and do not let her walk way out in front. If she is next to you, you can watch her for the subtle signs she is getting ready to 'go crazy'. Ears up, body tensing, ect, use your body to block her view and walk in the other direction. Give praise for calmness and being able to walk away. I did this for about a week and now Chibi hardly ever reacts like he did.
