Try giving her some canned plain pumpkin...not the kind with pie spices in. This can often correct bowel problems. Assuming she is very young, it's not likely she will over eat, & should have food available all the time while she's growing. She will continue to do things she shouldn't until you teach her otherwise. I found squeaky toys very useful in distracting Roxy's attention away from things I didn't want her to do. Give it a squeak & toss at her for her to play with. Keep plenty of toys & things for her to do around to fill the need to chew & be destructive. It takes a lot of supervision on your part. Teach her some commands with little treat rewards. Make it a game. They have the attention span of a gnat when young, so be prepared for quick changes. The first few months can be a bit labor intensive, but can end up with her having very good manners if you put the time in with her.
When you say she acts like she is on speed, she is running around like a Nascar driver on drugs... that is likely what we call the Zoomies. Yes, this is very normal! Don't be concerned or worry about it. She's burning unused energy. Just let her run herself down. She's fine. I always enjoy the moment.
