We have just come back from two weeks on the beach with Bull, who is now 10 months old. We went by car, it was a seven hour ride. Bull went in the back seat next to my daughter with a bed and his seat belt, of course. He did GREAT the whole seven hours. We stopped three times for him to go to the bathroom and I carried a travelling water bottle and bowl set. I was worried because he didn't drink much, but he was great, so I guess he just was not that thirsty. He carried his tags everywhere, and since I am kind of paranoid that he might get lost or stolen, he simply went everywhere with us. I never left him alone in the room. He is very well behaved so that was not a problem. Anyway, I had taken to carriers with me, one that is more like a bag, and the other one that is more rigid, so that I could close it completely if we went somewhere where he was not that welcome. But it was not necessary, he was more than welcome everywhere, he even visited a museum with us. I also took his shampoo, conditioner and brush, and I brushed off the sand every night and bathed him once. I carried his towel also and a few toys. It was a wonderful experience, he loved it but he was super happy to meet the rest of the gang ( my four other dogs when we came back ). I'll post picture in the pictures section as soon as I download them! Oh! And I also carried a life vest, because he loves swimming, and I was a bit afraid of the sea! Hope you have a good time!
