I definitely agree on this point. Cookie had no problems with her wire cage (with a nice thick bed so she never had to lay on or walk on wire) other than the first night, whereas she hated sleeping in her travel crate the nights I tried it instead. It's funny though, she will often go lay down in the travel crate to take a nap (I leave it out on the floor for her so she can have her own room all to herself).
