I never succeeded with the grinder on my boys. We grind nails by walking on pavement. Yes, I cheat.
Teddy was trained well for nail trimming, but Max was never happy about it. Thankfully, with the walking, I never have to do their nails.
I can imagine that the dew claw is a challenge.
