Bubba has short hair except for his legs and face thick and a little curly, Sissy has long hair (not show length but long)very straight and silky feeling the Madan brush works great on both types of hair. Before the Madan I tried several other brushes, the only one I have keep was a natural boars hair brush. Every once in awhile I pull the boars hair brush out but end up going back to MY brush.
Both dogs love the Madan brush and will jump on the couch if you just tap the brush on the coffee table. If I brush Bubba first sometimes he tries to cheat and lines up for a second brushing
