So my niece bought a nail grinder for dogs and I gave it a try. Magnus didn't like it so much but I think he just needs to get used to it. I'm starting out with tiny treats for each nail he lets me grind without a fuss.
My biggest problem is the dewclaw. I'm having hard time b/c of the fur that's in the way. Tomorrow, I'm going to try and wet his fur down with water so I can see the claw better. For those that do this at home, can you share some of your experiences/tips?
Also, which brand/model grinder do you use?
