Oh I'm so glad! It is definitely worth it to pay more for a good dog from a good breeder who has worked hard to produce a healthy well adjusted puppy
the breeder list through akc is often a good place to start or if you are not devoted to the young pup idea a rescue can be a great option- they already have a good handle oftentimes on any health issues or food allergies the dog may be dealing with and then they usually are already altered and vaccinated.
