Maverick is a little cutie. I highly recommend letting the hair grow and allow the weight of the hair to keep it away from the eyes. I use a Madan mustache comb or Chris Christensen butter comb to train the hair away from the eyes. Both are excellent, but the Madan is 1/3 the price.
