OMG- I need opinions- Baffled If this is to graphic please remove Im just looking for possible answers.
I had Charlie neutered when I first got him (age 6 months) it was done by a veterinarian that I left due to poor care (Grrrr) , when Charlie had the surgery, He had only 1 testicle that was visible from the outside of his body. I was told that during surgery the other was found and removed, that it had just not dropped. now it was my understanding that once neutered he would no longer have "the urge" and he would not "hump" (this is something I just assumed) this has not been the case. He does not do it often and only certain people are his targets (me my mom and my brother in law HAHA) now, we always make him stop and scold him with a firm voice.
Here is the baffling part, today I placed charlie up on the bed to brush him and he started to "hump" just mid air, since he was up high I noticed that he had a large protrusion behind his penis, it ran horizontal and was very firm to the touch, it did not hurt him for me to touch it and once he got past his humping moment it went away. It almost seemed like his penis was not in the right place the protrusion was not a bulge but the length of what his penis would be but going horizontal.
Can testicles grow back??? Was something not removed entirely during surgery??? Can a penis get turned around??? Now I cant say that it has or hasn't appeared each time because to be honest I'm to busy trying to make him stop humping family members and he has never been high enough off the ground for me to notice. I have sent an email to his vet (the wonderful one, not the stupid one) but thought I might look here for some opinions. |
