Thanks for the suggestion about the pumpkin. I will try that. She is currently on prescription I/d food, but they also said to give her boiled chicken and rice. She doesn't like rice very much, but will eat it if there is something mixed in. I will try mixing in some pumpkin. My big dog LOVED rice so new experience to have a dog that avoids it like the plague. :-)

She is home as of this morning. Has quite the incision! She was absolutely traumatized with the whole experience. I finally got her to calm down and go to sleep. She is not digging the cone very much. :-)

We should have the biopsy results sometime next week. The nurse told me today that they think what they found was inflamed lymph nodes. She said dogs have lymph nodes in their intestines similar to what humans have in the neck. They feel hers were inflamed due to irritable bowel syndrome and acid, but they want to make sure it wasn't anything more serious so sent the samples off to make sure.
