Your question got me thinking... I don't remember what life was like before Kaji. He just showed up and took over.

the only thing I regret buying before Kaji came home that he never used is toys. I bought so many toys! I didn't know a pup could be so picky! I bought a kong, he hated it. To this day he hates the texture/taste of plastic rubber toys. I bought him a plush hedgehog, he hated that too. In fact, he didn't use toys until 8 months later. First toy he ever picked up was a full size tennis ball. Now that's all I buy, those tiny squeaky tennis balls. He loves those! I think a lot of the pups here love those.
