When my Londom had a c-section with her litter last year, she too panted and actd restless. I was also concerned about eclampsia or an infection. We made a trip to the vet twice the next couple days to have her checked out. She was n pain medication for her c-section. My vet didnt feel she had low calcium but possibly starting an infection so we gave antibiotics. We did give a very small amount of Caldex a couple times. After a couple days she settle down and returned to normal.

After a c-section, they are in pain, confused, and hormones are crazy. I believe a lot of the panting was due to pain and anxiety/confusion after the surgery. Of course having my vet check her out and making sure calcium was ok and that she didnt develop an infection was the best thing to do. Better to be safe than sorry.

Hopefully your girl will be feeling better in a Couple days
