If you can incorporate brushing his teeth into your grooming routines, I don't think feeding him wet food is going to be a problem. Or maybe you could try sneaking in few kibbles in the wet food. Zoey's bit picky about food so I always mix 50/50 with kibbles/wet. Works 95% of the time. But when she's in one of those particular moods and won't eat the food even if it's all wet, I add bit of chicken broth and that does the trick.
