I remember how scared I was each time my kiddos got fixed too - it's always scary when they have surgery. You'll be surprised how fast your girl snaps back, they're pretty amazing. She may be really sluggish/low the first several hours as the anesthesia is still in her system, but that will improve. MAKE SURE you come home w/ pain medication AND ask your vet what you should do if her pain isn't being alleviated (he may tell you to increase the dose and/or call in for an add'l med - but always have a pain plan, bc abdominal surgery hurts!).

Mine never bothered their stitches, so we didn't need a cone collar or a onesie, but I'd def have a onesie on hand just in case.
