Hi Lena, welcome to YorkieTalk! There is so much info here and some of the friendliest people, too! We can certainly share your anxiety about the surgery--it's so hard to leave them at the vet. Do you have some onesie baby undershirts for her to wear after the surgery to keep her from bothering her stitches? Our Yorkie, Puff, will be 2 in May. She was very pitiful the day after the surgery, but improved quickly afterwards. Will you be able to stay home with her for the first few days after her surgery?

I didn't know about this until after Puff was spayed, but some people get their leg x-rayed before the surgery to make sure the growth plates have closed. Just something to consider.
