Dear God!No one in their right mind docks a puppy' s tail at 8 weeks of age!!
These people are either scamming you big time or are the cruelest of beasts. Docking is done on day 3 or 4 after birth. Doing it at 8 weeks would be a horribly painful and bloody procedure.
Please do not help these people stay in business.
Contact the YTCA and search for breeders in your area. Go to the AKC website and click on the club tab. Do a search for AKC conformation or specialty clubs in your state. These have breeder referral contact people that can point you in the right direction. They only recommend reputable breeders.
Stay on YT and read, learn, see the painful mistakes others have made and learn. All puppies are cute but the potential for serious problems lie under that fluff. The most important thing is to help put animal abusers out of business.
A new pup should be part of your family for 15 years or more. Take your time looking for the right pup and do not support animal abusers.
