No, it is not sad. Another day or two won't make a huge difference. I am assuming they gave you anti inflammatories and/or pain meds for him?? A consult with a specialist will probably be around $100. If you are going to have a problem with the cost of surgery, you might want to look into Care Credit. Most specialists accept it and the interest is usually very low. It varies from place to place....the facility works with Care Credit to set the interest rate.
