should i find one with glucosamine instead or calcium is just fine?
I'm not clear on how you are relating glucosamine and calcium... glucosamine couldn't hurt but adding a supplement may not be necessary for your dog if they don't have joint issues or do high-impact activities whereas it is critical that you supplement with calcium if you are preparing your own fresh dog food. I give Toki a glucosamine/chondroitin supplement because she has had an FHO surgery and has LP in that same leg so I feel it is beneficial in her case. I don't give it to Teddy because he doesn't need it at this point so it would be kind of a waste of money in my opinion.
