I've been following this situation since the beginning. Judy honored her pet contract. I said before that buyers need to carefully read their breeder's contract and health guarantee before they sign it and buy a puppy. If you're not happy with the agreement, look for a different breeder. I'm not a fan of a lot of breeders contracts but if a pet buyer agrees to it then thats what they have to accept if something happens.
You can't buy a puppy, have an issue arise and then ask for something different than the contract stipulates. Through this whole situation, Judy asked for vet records and also wanted max to see a specialist...neither of which happened until much later. A thread was posted on YT and Judy had never even gotten vet records at that point. How would one expect her to take an action without any proof of the condition? People lie all the time...I don't know personally know Sheila, as most of us on YT do not...I'm not saying she would lie. I'm just saying people do. I've heard of many stories from different breeders about pet owners lieing to them. Judy needed proof and it wasnt provided until after that thread was posted.
I'm glad max has been properly diagnosed finally and is in a good home. I won't comment on what I would personally do so far as a replacement puppy....I'll let Judy and Sheila work that one out.
