your sure he didnt pass something from his anal sac?? sometimes they pass what builds up in there on their own...I have two that do on their own and one who needs to go to the vet when she scoots as she will not pass it on her own. cedric usually will have a lil slimy loose type of stool when it happens. but the smell is different so I know that's where it came from. just a thought in case.
I agree keep your eye on him be sure he is drinking and eating normally if it persists call your vet.
