UPDATE:
Bloodwork came back today and the vet actually said Prince has low blood sugar, not high blood sugar. We are heading back in shortly to do a glucose test in the office to confirm the findings. She said he could have a pancreatic tumor that's causing it and that there's medicine for it. We just did an abdominal ultrasound last May...so it would definitely have come on quick. I am just scared and nervous and upset. I know that the breeder I got him from had dogs dying at 7 and 8 from cancer. I hope my little guy has more longevity than them. |
