Hi Deb1. All I can say is this: Please don't judge Alaskans by any of the shows you see about Alaska. They all make us look like a bunch of idiots. Haha! But I do understand the fascination with Alaska. I've only been here since February of 2010 but it was always a dream for my husband (now ex-husband for the last 6 days) and I to live in Alaska. We love it here and we have no plans of ever leaving. Besides, we're warmer than most of you on the Outside (what we call the rest of the country).
