Hi I am new to the community my name is Kim and my baby is Paris and is 8year old female yorkie. She is the love of my life as all yorkies are to their mommies!! Paris started limpimg the other day she jumped off my bed and I think she landed wrong. I brought her to the vet immediately and the vet said she has LP. I made an appt with surgeon for opinion and another vet for an opinion. I am going crazy with worry, fear and am so sad about this happening to Paris? Has anybody had an older yorkie have surgery and do well? Paris is in good health walks daily, not right now but usually walks two miles per day. Paris isn't yelping or showing she's in pain. I guess I am just asking for experiences with surgery? I am terrified for Paris, thankyou for your help.
