My Sophie Kate will hump me only (yes you read that correctly I have a female humper). It is truly a sign that she is trying to dominate me, she thinks she is in charge.
What I have been told to do is not make a huge deal out of it happening but to stop it when she starts. I move her and tell her "no" or to stop and that will usually stop it for the time being but she has always come back for more at another time. I have noticed she will do it when she wants my attention and I doing something else, normally it is when I am using the IPad - she has a real jealousy thing with the IPad.
