 lyme disease
we just got back from the ER with our little Bentley. My vet thought he may have had a slipped knee...as I did myself...they gave him metacam for the pain but, he only got worse. He is very lethargic, and now can not walk properly. The ER vet took his temp...103.1...all vitals are perfect...however he keeps holding up his front leg now. She did blood work and tested him for lyme as he has all the characteristics of it. The test was negative....my question to all is....have any of you ever have this happen? I am very concerned about my little man...On a good note...he is still eating...he will not stand to eat. He is laying in his little bed and I brought his food to him. I did just give him his first dose of antibiotic...Please pray for my little man...My heart is breaking for him right now.
