Zoey runs and get all excited when she poops on her pad. I can be reading or watching tv and she will come jump on me and bark. I then ask her if she went poo poo and she dances around. Then I say let me see and I get up and sure enough there is poop on the pad. Then I tell her in a high pitched voice what a good girl she is and she is very happy. No treats, just praise. Works every time.
I think the "fake pee" to get a treat is hilarious.
