Also I just wanted to say if the vet is using a combo vaccine, as in a 5 way, Dr. Dodds and Dr. Schultz (vaccine researchers) don't recommend them or like them. The vet should be using a 3 way at the most. The 5 way has some components in them such as lepto which can cause reactions.

One of the problems with these types of vaccines is they have so many antigens in them you will never know which one caused the reaction. So it's best for the pup to administer as few as p[possible at once. The smaller the dog the more likely a reaction can happen.

These statements are from reliable sources.....

It is commonly held that puppies need a certain number of vaccines for protection to be achieved (usually either 3 or 4 is the “magic” number). The number of vaccines given has nothing to do with protection. In order for protection to be achieved, vaccine must be given when it can penetrate maternal antibody. " (American Animal Hospital Association)

Giving combo vaccines (multi-valiant, polyvalent) and/or several shots at once increases the risk of adverse reactions as well as the risk that the vaccines will interfere with each other, resulting in neutralization or negation. (American Animal Hospital Association)

Sorry so long...
