If it is really cold like it has been lately I will put a warm shirt or dress on Gracie in the morning. Our floors get chilly when the temps drop and she is down as close to the floor as anyone can get.

I do take it off her in the evening and comb her out. If she seems comfortable she goes to bed naked but if she is trying to lay on top of me or up against me it means she is chilly and I will put some pajamas on her. I have never had a dog that was so bothered by a slight change in temperature. In the summer when I have a fan or AC on she will want to hide under a blanket or sheet because she does not like it blowing on her.

I live in a forested area outside of town. We have a lot of wildlife so I don't take chances with or without clothing. We take the same precautions either way. I don't trust those owls at all and who knows what a coyote would do? I think they are color blind anyway. Not sure about the birds.
