Jackson is 17lbs so I won't be carrying him anywhere
BUT he loves coming with me wherever he can. He comes to the bank (and gets a biscuit through the drive-thru), and certain stores around here allow dogs (there's a nice garden-center type place that allows dogs to walk in, and it's gorgeous there at Christmas time), Home Depot or Lowes...
Ummm, I've never heard anyone say anything to me when I've had him with me to get my car fixed or oil change, etc. He will come into the lobby with me to pay. Oh, the local car wash is very dog friendly. They're allowed inside and even get a biscuit at the register while you're waiting for your car. Most stores in Downtown Annapolis allow dogs on leash, even some clothing stores.
We take him on vacation with us to certain places- i.e. Gettysburg is very dog friendly. The obvious pet stores of course. I may be missing some.
