Colors & clothing won't prevent a raptor from attacking. If the dog has a hefty, puffy coat on, it could cushion a blow, but not by much. Just don't let her out of your sight for a second.
Lexie only dresses for warmth or fashion
. The only tangle she gets tend to be in the armpit area. I just keep that area clipped shorter. Brush before dressing & after undressing, & you shouldn't have a problem.
Lex has a silky coat, but I understand cotton (soft) coats tangle much more easily.
