Also, check out your jewelry box...all those broken ankle bracelets, necklaces, chains, earrings, etc that you no longer wear or want....(like my x-husbands wedding ring!!)....with the price of gold today, you can really get a lot of vet care bankrolled! I paid for a dental and a spay on a retired breeder, and had a little left over when I "turned in" broken chains and earrings and a couple of rings that the stones had fallen out of.....and my ex's gold cufflinks that I had bought him for his birthday one year (the birthday when I found out he had spent it with another woman....)!
