Awww...I am sorry to hear you have to rehome her. My older pup has had a lot of gastrointestinal problems as well so I can totally relate.

It sounds like Daisy would be perfect for someone who is retired, financially comfortable and in need of a full time companion to dote on.

Have you tried contacting rescues to see if they would work with you. Perhaps because of her special circumstances, they would let her stay with you until they could find the perfect home for her and hopefully they'd let you be involved in the process of finding her a perfect home.You could also try other social networking sites, like FB to get the word out. I could see Daisy loving life with some retired couple down in the Florida sunshine.

I am not sure what your health issues are, but do you foresee them as an ongoing problem or could you perhaps take her back if someone was willing to foster her temporarily while you focus on getting yourself better?!? Just trying to think of another alternative so you could keep your pup...
