 Had a bizaar scare
So my yorkie coco la rue wears a rabies tag issued by the state. It came with a very thin coiled wire that attaches to the tag to the collar. Anyway, while I was sleeping with her in my bed she was sleeping in her usually spot which is on the side edge of the bed. I woke up to find her yelping and her hanging with feet over the bed. I went to lift her up so she wouldn't completing fall and discovered she was stuck! Her tags wire had punctured my mattress , gotten snagged causing her to be in danger of hanging. I couldn't believe how embedded the wire was into my pillow top bed. I had to rip the pillow top in my panic to undo her. I can't imagine what would of happened had this occurred while I was away. I feel awful I didn't put on a sturdier metal attachment. My baby could have been taken from me over something so preventable as I had it on my list to replace it. She is fine by the way thank goodness. If any of you has one of these thin wire attachments replace it with something sturdier. |
