Patti, you might want to read my threads about my Olivia. She has renal issues among other things...what you are describing sounds like PLN (protein losing nephropathy) which is what Olivia has. She has been on enalapril and aspirin (to avoid blood clots) since her diagnosis. We do UPC (urine protein creatinine ratio) every 3 - 4 months and also have her B/P checked. The nutritionist put her on Purina N/F and she has, like I said, done very well.
