We recently had our bedrooms carpets replaced with laminate flooring. The upheaval was immense, all furniture moved out, clothes all over the shop, too much stuff to ever get back again, etc etc. We're getting older and it's taken us two weeks in all to get prepared and then straight again after the event. Within this period of disruption, Crystal became very disconbobulated and clung to my every move. She looked like a soul lost and has only now begun to relax again, as we are nearly back to normal.

One fun thing was a Bust of Winston Churchill that had resided in place on the TV cabinet ever since Crystal moved in 7 months ago. I put it in a new place, closer to her level than before. This arrangement provoked a real fit of pique, resulting in much reverse snorting, growling and jumping, until I returned the great man to his previous repose.

Yorkies - dont ya just love em....
