I have it at times had terrible RLS in the past and oddly enough, once I started taking Nexium for my nervous stomach, it helped the RLS!!! Also, not over-walking or walking too fast or getting my legs over-tired would keep it from acting up, though exercise, stretching and gentle walking helps it greatly. Getting up and taking a hot shower, cold packs both have helped, plus plain old sedation such a part of a diazepam. I've heard that fatigue & caffeine make it worse. I had it worse in January and February for some reason for a few years. It's truly awful for those that have it but thankfully it hasn't acted up much in the last two years.
