His mamma just reminded me of the story, a stranger on a dock in the San Juans referred to him as bait because of his size, that evolved in to me calling him "Crab Bait".

"Crab Bait" sounds better than "Geoduck" [pronounced "gooey - duck] - (we used to live in Seattle) :-)
