Scares me to death but they usually do fine in a day or two if they don't have complications and most don't. Just give her the pain medication as prescribed, keep her from jumping, and be sure to ask the vet what to do if she seems highly agitated, highly restless or whining a great deal or is shaking a lot and it's still an hour or two before her next dose of medicine. A lot of vets will say call me or go ahead and give her the next dose an hour or two early if she seems to be in a lot of pain and watch her closely.

I hope is all goes well for little Mork, you get "the call" she's awake and well soon and she recuperates quickly.

Thank you!! These are all things the Vet will be asked. I don't think I will be able to call her after hours since her office is only open from the hours of 8am-5pm but she might know of somewhere that can be called after hours. I wish I had known to ask these sorts of questions of my Vet when we took Oreo in to get spayed. I would have called in the middle of the night because she wasn't whining, she was screaming. I know now that they can have complications and I won't make that mistake with Mork.
