I don't know how it happened. Thankfully it wasn't a deep crack. We used Bag Balm and it healed quickly. Tractor Supply and WalMart (pet section) sell it.
Was the sticker in Rosie's pad or the flesh color part between the pads? Are her pads soft? If her pads are too soft (not roughed up enough), she may be more susceptible to injury. Gail taught me that -- that it isn't good to use pad softeners.
